What is Mental Health First AID?

More than 50% of people

will be diagnosed with a mental illness or disorder at some point in their lifetime.

Mental Health First Aid USA is a free 8-hour training. Through the course, you will learn how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or is going through a mental health crisis. Through Mental Health First Aid, trainees can identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders.

MentalHealth.today is a project by multiple partners to bring Mental Health First Aid classes to Lake County, Illinois.

You can make a difference. Host a training or become an instructor.
